Lunch & Learn – Helping Folks Deal with a Physical Illness Using EFT by Michael Hutt, LPC
Illness is unpredictable, and that unpredictability activates attachment reactions. This lunch & learn uses John Rolland’s framework (Helping Families and Couples Navigate Illness and Disability) to map where uncertainty peaks across an illness course. We’ll connect those peaks to common attachment patterns: pursuit, withdrawal, overfunctioning. You’ll leave with a lens for anticipating reactivity before it happens.
- Map an illness course onto Rolland’s framework to identify where uncertainty peaks.
- Identify how illness-driven uncertainty activates attachment patterns.
We’re excited to invite you to our next PCEFT Lunch & Learn at Steeple Jack Restaurant (Fireside Room), 2400 NE Broadway, Portland, OR.
Each month, we’ll gather to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new friends and colleagues, network, and enjoy a brief EFT presentation from a fellow community member.
